about

NYC - Spain

Hi there! My name is Pepe Nufrio and in case we haven't met yet: I was born in Madrid, Spain and since I was a child I have had a great passion for music and the arts. Do you know the kid who would always be singing and performing fearlessly when asked to? Well, that was me (I'm still that kid, really). When I was 17 I had my first voice lesson and ever since I have been hooked. At the age of 20 I moved to New York City to train at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy. If you want to know more, shoot me an email and we'll chat! Thank you for visiting!

Reviews

Pepe Nufrio’s portrayal of the love-stricken priest Garcia is palpably transparent. Nufrio delivers a compelling performance with his skillful line delivery, brilliant display of Garcia’s conflicting emotional and mental state, and his command of the stage. (Occasion for Sin)

Equally praiseworthy was Pepe Nufrio’s performance of Ragtime’s “Make Them Hear You.” One of the acclaimed performers as Broadway’s Rising Stars, it’s safe to say the golden-voiced AMDA graduate got his message across — we definitely heard him, and I, for one, can’t wait to hear him again soon. (To that end, as Nufrio left the stage, Siegel advises, “Remember that name.”)
